INES KARU

Ines really loves oriental dance and she can not imagine life without it. Her devotion to 

oriental dance grows bigger every single day of life. "Oriental dance is like a fountain of 

inspiration, which makes me feel powerful. It truly comes from my heart.": have said Ines.

Ines Karu aka Ines is an internationally acclaimed and experienced Oriental Dance Artist, Instructor and Choreographer.

She is the first Speciality Teacher for Middle Eastern/Oriental Dance and Egyptian Folklore in Baltics. Certificated by ISOC

& Prof Dr Hassan Khalil in Cairo in April 2010.

Ines is the most well-known oriental dance artist in Estonia, who has travelled to perform and teach around Europe (UK, Monaco, Latvia, Egypt,

Switzerland, Belgium, Finland, Italy) and USA.  She has also performed many times in television, festivals, exhibitions, weddings, restaurants, large company parties, music concerts and so on. Her dancing style is energetic, sensual and spectacular. She is wonderful at musical interpretation and emotional expression.
Ines has been hosting concerts, club events and been anchorman on television. She has participated in "Singing with the stars 2009" and "Hoia ja Keela 2004-2005" TV3, "Õllesummer 2005" Kanal 2 tv-projects in Estonia.

Ines is a member of the International Organization Raashastars. Raashastars achieved 2nd place in Cairo Nile Group Festival November 2009.

Ines is a Founder of InesDance Studio & Agency and idea creator/Co-founder of Estonian Centre of Oriental Dance. She is the creator of dancing troupesTürküBel and Aka o´ Pele, more know as InesDance Oriental or Polynesian Troupe.

Ines started to learn oriental dance year 2000 and has been giving regular oriental dance lessons since 2002. She has been working for Danceact Dance Studio and Status Club Fitness Studio. From 2009 she is teaching at her own Dance Studio InesDance. Ines is always doing everything comprehensively and in depth. 


Ines started to learn dancing at the age of five, when parents took her to a ballet and gumnastics classes. She has also studied show-, hiphop-, modern dancing and aerobics. In the summer of 2007 she went to Finland and US to study Hawaiian Hula and Tahitian dances.
 
In 2010, Ines was called to participate and represent Estonia in the Baltic Oriental Dance Festival, in Riga. The Piramida Festival´s golden sponsor magazine "Lublu" gave out an award to their favorite oriental dancer Ines - in november 2008, she was called to Latvia to represent Estonia in the Baltic Oriental Dance Festival´s show-contest "Queen of the Pyramid 2008" (3 professional dancers from each Baltic State). 

Ines performed with the Georges Lammam Ensamble in San Francisco in june 2008.

Ines went to participate in the International Belly Dancing Convention 2007 in Las Vegas. She performed and also competed in the advanced solo competition. 

Ines was awarded as the Estonian Sexiest Woman of the Year 2007 ("Kroonika").

InesDance oriental dance troupe TürküBel got awarded with the third place in the Estonian International Belly Dance Festival 07.

Ines took place in the Nile Group Competition in Cairo April 2008.
